For the last few months I have been working with the Editorial Committee of Anvil journal. Anvil has now become an on-line journal and the plan is to place as many of the print back-issues on-line on biblicalstudies.org.uk as possible. At present I am contacting contributors for their permissions and, as you can see from the table of contents, the response from authors has been extremely positive. So much so that although I am currently only up to issue 10.1 I am uploading so many articles every day that it would be impossible to blog about each one.
If you are interested in this journal I recommend that you visit the table of contents regularly over the coming month. If you are an author whom I have not yet contacted yet, feel free to get in touch with me first [rob(at)biblicalstudies.org.uk].
BiblicalStudies.org.uk

Two articles by Stephen S. Smalley now online
I am currently working at placing on-line articles from the old series of Themelios, originally published by the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES) - not to be confused with the new series published by UCCF from 1975 and more recently by the Gospel Coalition. The latest additions are:
Stephen S. Smalley, "The Imitation of Christ in the New Testament," Themelios 3.1 (1965): 13-22.
Stephen S. Smalley, "Holy Worldliness," Themelios 3.3 (1966): 16-23.

Graeme Goldsworthy on Old Testament Study
Dr. Goldsworthy gives some good advice to evangelicals preparing to start theological study in the 1970's:

Bible Translator Table of Contents now on-line
For some years the United Bible Societies have made their extremely useful journal Bible Translator freely available on its website. As the online version lacks a searchable table of contents it has proved difficult to use unless you knew in advance what you wanted. [see comments] The articles - being presented in the form of individual jpg images served - are not picked up by search engines and so don't appear in web search results.
For these reasons I have produced a table of contents for the journal here to make it more accessible.
